Guillotine (Remastered)

from Magna Doors (Deluxe) by The Shaker Heights

/

about

'Guillotine' was my metaphor for guilt, of which I carried from not always behaving in a way my conscience would have liked. It became a big, loud live number, and remained in the set for many years.

lyrics

Guillotine

Guillotine moving through the air, hands running through your hair,
I can see you there, I could feel your stare.

Guillotine, call it what you will, get closer I’ll hurt you still;
Closet dreams we kill, call it what you will.

Guillotine comes down, Guillotine comes down!

Guillotine moving through the air, hands running through your hair,
I can see you there, I could feel your stare.

Guillotine, call it what you will, get closer I’ll hurt you still;
Closet dreams we kill, call it what you will.

Guillotine comes down, Guillotine comes down!
